Education Academy - Recruitment Process
With only 20 seats available in the annual intake of students, it is important that Taranaki Rugby League and its programme partners (WITT and Te Ara Ltd) identify the best candidates to participate in the Academy programme. This does not neccessarily mean that we are looking for the strongest and fittest players, rather that we are looking for those who show courage, determination, pride and most of all a positive attitude. To assist us in doing this, each applicant will be required to undertake a serries of activities prior to being accepted. These activities will identify your physical condition and fitness, mental toughness, work ethic, character and attitude. All these areas play a significant part in your own personal success and as such it is expected that you demonstrate a suitable level of competency in these areas to ensure that your stuitability for this proghramme can be determined.
